About the Race

The Forest Hills Foundation for Education is pleased to bring you the fourth annual Forest Hills 5K run/walk. Proceeds from this years race will be used to help fund FHFE's newest program termed 24/7 learning. This will involve opening up the Media Centers at Nagel Middle School , Anderson High School, and Turpin High School during specified evening hours. Funds will provide staffing for the media centers as well as providing support materials.

The race begins promptly at 8:30 a.m.

Location: Nagel Middle School - 1500 Nagel Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45255

The course will include local bands, cheerleaders, water stops, official time clocks, and all the motivation you need to run or walk a 5k. Last year we had over 400 Elementary students train and participate in the FH5K... way to go FH running clubs!!

Immediately following the race there is a Post race festival which includes plenty of food and drink, included in your registration price. There will be fantastic entertainment at the festival, including a DJ, Kids Fun Run, 9 School Mascots, and multiple Local Cincinnati Mascots. Join us as we cheer on our moscots in a little friendly competition which of course brings on a lot of laughter.

A professional photographer is on hand for pictures.

The Foundation

The Forest Hills Foundation for Education is a private foundation created to support public education in the FHSD. The all volunteer board is comprised of your friends and neighbors who share one common bond- the passion for excellence in education.

This event is very special in the fact that it brings students, families and staff from all nine of the Forest Hills Schools together for a few great reasons:

  • To encourage students, staff, and families to embrace fitness as a part of their daily lives
  • To raise money for the Forest Hills Foundation for Education
  • To celebrate our unique community
  • To reach out to all community members, alumni, and local businesses to foster a spirit of unity and FUN!!
